LAGOS, NIGERIA – The University of Lagos has announced it will temporarily release convicted scam artist Hushpuppi on educational parole to deliver a lecture titled “How to Steal Without Shame.” The session, part of the school’s new “Real-World Empowerment Week,” aims to equip students with the confidence to commit fraud while maintaining eye contact.
The move has received wide praise from Nigeria’s aspiring Yahoo Boys, who say the lecture is “long overdue.” “This school is finally preparing us for real life,” said one excited student. “No more outdated textbooks — just premium scamming tips from a verified legend.”
A university spokesperson, Mr. Babs Oriade, defended the move: “Hushpuppi has real-life credibility. He’ll teach students how to steal ethically — with receipts, apology statements, and branded apology videos. We want smart criminals, not sloppy ones.”
The event will be hosted at the university’s newly renamed Institution of Greed and Fraud. For his contribution, Hushpuppi will receive an honorary degree in Emotional Theft and Victim Reparation. Students have been advised to dress formally — and bring a burner account.
